Introduction
Welcome to Flexride Car Rental. These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you and our business. By renting a vehicle or booking through our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below. These conditions are designed to ensure a safe and professional experience for all our valued customers in Massachusetts.
Eligibility and Age Requirement
To ensure the safety of our fleet and compliance with insurance standards, all primary renters and additional authorized drivers must be at least 21 years of age. A valid, government-issued driver’s license must be presented and maintained in good standing throughout the duration of the rental period.
Booking and Rental Period
Flexride Car Rental offers flexible booking options to meet your transportation needs. We require a minimum rental period of 1 day (24 hours). To manage fleet rotation and maintenance, the maximum duration for any single continuous rental period is 3 weeks. Extensions must be pre-approved and documented via a new rental agreement.
Mileage Limits
Our standard rental package includes a generous mileage allowance of 135 miles per day. For any travel exceeding this daily limit, an additional fee of $0.35 per extra mile will be applied. Mileage is calculated cumulatively over the total active rental days.
Payments and Taxes
All rentals are subject to a standard 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax. We prioritize transparency; therefore, all primary rental costs and any additional foreseeable fees (such as insurance or cleaning) will be clearly outlined to you during the booking process.
Pickup and Return
Both vehicle pickup and return must take place at our designated Brockton location. These procedures must be completed during our official business hours. Late returns without prior authorization may result in additional charges to cover administrative costs and fleet disruption.
Customer Responsibilities
The renter is responsible for maintaining the vehicle's condition, ensuring appropriate fuel levels, and monitoring standard maintenance items during use. You are solely responsible for all parking citations, traffic violations, and toll charges incurred during the rental period. Failure to adhere to local laws may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.
Limitations of Liability
Flexride Car Rental provides vehicles in safe operating condition but offers no further express or implied warranties. Our liability is strictly limited to the rental fees paid. We shall not be held liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from mechanical failure or service interruptions.
